Rohej Khatiwada is an independent journalist from Nepal specializing in long-form narrative journalism. He writes on global politics, political economy, Nepal’s foreign affairs, social issues, history, and culture. His work has appeared in Caravan magazine, Kantipur Daily, Himal Khabar, and other publications in Nepal and India. Previously, he worked with Radio Sagarmatha, Setopati, and Naya Patrika.
He is also a scholar of South Asian Studies, having pursued his master’s at Pondicherry University under the South Asia Foundation fellowship. Additionally, he holds a master’s in English Language, Literature, and Philosophy from IACER, Pokhara University.
He is the editor and translator of Ekkaisau Shatabdima Nigarani ra Swatantrata.
